That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce ‘Project Good Feeling’, a new initiative designed to empower our tenants, and make their transition into our accommodation as smooth and hassle free as possible.
As a welcome gift to our extraordinary tenants, we’re offering a complimentary furniture package to the first residents of each new home (that includes essential appliances, white goods and stylish furniture pieces) guaranteed to make your new space shine.
In this blog post, we’ll answer some frequently asked questions about our furniture packages, so you can get a clear understanding of the benefits and options available.
Our furniture packages are thoughtfully curated to provide you with everything you need to create a comfortable and functional living space.
Tenants can expect to find the following white goods in every home: fridge, microwave, blinds for windows, dishwasher, dryer (shared in common area) and washing machine (shared in common area). In addition, our packages also include a dining table and chairs, sofa and TV (for HPS/FA/IL tenants).
Who is eligible?
Individuals who are among the initial tenants or occupants of a newly constructed home are eligible for this offer.
Can I choose which items I want from the package?
We understand that everyone has their own unique style and may already have furniture pieces that they love. Our furniture pieces are entirely optional. Consider this a special gift from us to you!
Tenants have freedom to select from one of two stylish mood boards. While we aren’t able to swap items within the packages, we are more than happy to tailor these to your preferences by removing any items you don’t want or need.
Do I have to pay for the furniture package?
No, you don’t have to pay anything for the furniture package. It’s our way of saying ‘welcome home’ and ensuring you have a comfortable and inviting space to settle into.
Can I choose the colour of the furniture pieces?
We want you to love your new living space, so we’ve collaborated with design experts to offer a choice of two mood boards - Option A and Option B - that illustrate your options.
This way, you can select the colours and styles that best match your personal taste and create a space that reflects your unique personality.
Will someone assist me with furniture assembly?
Absolutely! We want your move-in experience to be hassle-free, which is why we take care of all the heavy lifting.
Our team will supply and install all the furniture items included in your Project Good Feeling package. All you have to do is move in, and enjoy your beautifully furnished home!
What if something needs repair?
If any electrical item included in your furniture package requires repair and is still under warranty, we will gladly arrange to have it fixed at no cost to you. However if a particular item is no longer covered by warranty, you will be responsible for the cost of repairs.
Rest assured, we’ll always strive to assist you and provide the necessary support!
What if I decide to move out?
Should you choose to end your lease and move out of Good Housing’s SDA accommodation, you are free to take all the gifted furniture with you. We want you to enjoy the benefits of the furniture package for as long as you’re with us.
How can I accept the gifted furniture package?
To accept the furniture package and discuss your preferences, our Tenant Empowerment Manager will reach out to you and/or your Support Coordinator/Nominee. They will guide you through the process, including placing the order, arranging delivery, and coordinating the installation.
