Nestled in the small Victorian town of Warragul, our Wattle site hosts four state of the art, one-bedroom villas and two adjoining 3-resident houses; each custom designed and equipped for full accessibility.
Developed with the High Physical Support (HPS) contingent front of mind, Wattle includes an array of customised design features and details (including wide doorways, adjustable benches, private en suite bathrooms), providing enhanced physical access provisions for tenants with high level support needs.
Scheduled for completion in October 2023, Wattle offers comfort, independence and peace of mind for all tenants, with both private (private, independent villas) and shared living options (private bedroom in 3-resident house) available to suit tenants' preference.
Rent Cost: The SDA funding in your NDIS plan will be paid to Good Housing. In addition, tenants will pay the ‘Reasonable Rent Contribution’, which is 25% of your Disability Support Pension (or equivalent), and 100% Commonwealth Rent Assistance.
SDA Design Category: This home has been specifically designed and tailored for the SDA High Physical Support (HPS) Design Category.
Eligibility: To apply for Wattle, tenants will need to have (or be likely to attain) NDIS funding for SDA High Physical Support (HPS) eligibility.
