We recap six of Good Housing's biggest developments for 2023/24. Read all about it!
With a commitment to providing the highest standards of quality living for tenants, Good Housing has identified the areas in greatest need for new SDA housing and is working tirelessly to create homes that are both functional and beautiful.
But our work doesn't stop there...
From our integrated design and build all the way through to tenant transition and support services in collaboration with our wonderful SIL partners, the team is fiercely dedicated to championing our tenants across every step of their SDA journeys.
And with a host of new and exciting projects on the horizon (not that anyone's counting!) these are our six biggest and brightest developments for 2023!
We’re proud to announce the upcoming completion of Sandersonia, our new SDA home in Toongabbie!
Set for unveiling in October 2023, Sandersonia is located in the heart of Sydney's diverse and bustling Western Suburbs, and is close to an array of transportation options and amenities. Sandersonia is a project that combines style, modernity and functionality to create the perfect living space for Robust participants.
The six independent villas are purpose-built to cater to the unique needs of our tenants, with ample room for modifications as per their funding and requirements. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of this home has been crafted with care and attention to detail.
From modern and spacious living areas through to safe, accessible bathrooms and bedrooms, every detail has been considered to ensure Sandersonia is a space our tenants will be proud to call home!
Hot on the heels of Sandersonia? Two new homes in Jannali: Jacaranda and Jasmine, both of which are scheduled for completion early 2024.
Jacaranda boasts five stunning new independent villas, each designed under the SDA Robust category while, right next door, Jasmine offers two beautiful 2-resident shared villas, perfect for those requiring High Physical Support (HPS) provisions.
With access to a shared common indoor/outdoor space, tenants will never be short of space to relax, socialise and unwind. What's more, participants will be able to enjoy the many benefits of living in the thriving community of Jannali, such as easy access to public transportation, shopping centres, and recreational facilities.
Plus, with plenty of parks, walking trails, and outdoor spaces in the surrounding area, residents can enjoy an active lifestyle and the beauty of the great outdoors!
Get ready, south-west Sydney. Good Housing has heard your call for purpose-built, specialist disability accommodation in the Campbelltown region, and we're answering with not one, but three brand-new homes!
First up on the list is Banksia in Bradbury, a modern marvel boasting three independent villas and a two-resident house designed for High Physical Support (HPS) and Improved Liveability (IL) participants. This setup is perfect for those who crave their own space but still want to live with like-minded housemates.
Next up, Murraya and Macadamia in Macquarie Fields. These purpose-built, specialist disability accommodation homes offer a suite of two private villas, perfect for those requiring High Physical Support (HPS) provisions, as well as an adjoining two-resident house designed for Fully Accessible (FA) tenants.
What's more? Macadamia and Murraya are situated just a stone's throw away from local amenities, so you'll always have everything you need right at your fingertips. Whether it's grabbing a coffee at the nearby cafe, taking a stroll through the picturesque park, or running errands at the shops, you'll never be far from the action.
